Tumblestone Is Launching Next Week

Tumblestone is a game you may not be familiar with yet, but trust me you are going to be. Launching next week on PlayStation 4, Wii U, PC, Mac and Linux, players can join in the block matching action. But what about Xbox One, well that is also coming next week, with the added bonus that it is free to all Xbox One Gold Members, as part of the Games with Gold program.



Tumblestone is an original action-puzzle game, one of the first since Bejeweled that does something different. Taking the staid Match 3 formula and stripping away all the random gem flipping junk. The action and the game have been filled with unique, cerebral puzzles and intense multiplayer gameplay in the spirit of Tetris Attack and Dr. Mario.

Since the start of the project, Tumblestone has garnered much critical reception including placement in PAX 10 and the PAX East Indie Showcase, winning Intel Level Up's Best Puzzle Game, and being named one of the Best of PAX East by Destructoid.

Brought to life with beautiful hand-painted artwork, Tumblestone offers several deep and exciting game modes for both single-player and competitive multiplayer. Help the Sausage King make friends and discover what happened to the Tumblecrown in the 40-hour story campaign featuring 12 worlds, each with a unique twist on the core mechanic. 

Test your mettle with up to four players in local and online multiplayer, or take on the world with ranked matchmaking and leaderboards. Indulge in multiple arcade modes, including fast-paced Heartbeat mode, brainy Infinipuzzle mode, and relaxing Marathon mode. 

The game will start to roll out on the different platforms starting July 12, with Xbox One coming July 16th
