PAX Australia 2016 Is Kicking Things Off With Major Nelson

PAX Australia 2016 is fast approaching, with passes for the event selling just as quickly as ever, but one thing that was not announced was the opening speaker for the show, until now.

Larry Hyrb, better known as Major Nelson will be the man opening up this year show with a keynote speech. Known for his work with Xbox, Larry has spent the last decade creating a space for all to enjoy, with things like the podcast, Major Nelson Radio and being the face of Xbox at shows like E3 and Gamescom.

"As the embodiment of Xbox and Xbox Live, Major Nelson has seen it all," said Jerry Holkins, co-founder, Penny Arcade. "I will be there with everyone else when the show kicks off, ready to absorb his wisdom."

The show is getting bigger and bigger each year and this year is no exception, with more panels and exhibitors to be announced as we get closer to the show. PAX Aus will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 4-6 November, 2016 and is organised by ReedPOP in conjunction with Penny Arcade
