Plantronics Announce The First Wireless 24hr Headset AT E3 2016

Plantronics has taken to E3 2016 to announce the latest edition of their RIG series of gaming headsets the RIG 800HS and RIG 800HX, with the biggest feature being a 24 hour battery life for complete wireless gaming.
“At Plantronics, we understand the importance of providing gamers with tangible benefits that make them better players,” said Peter Petrides, Director of Gaming Products with Plantronics ANZ. “The RIG 800 series is designed for superior wireless performance and unmatched playtime combined with lightweight comfort and precision controls. As gamers ourselves, we strive to develop products for a whole range of player styles and needs. This is reflected in our extensive lineup of RIG headsets.”

The 24-hour battery life of the RIG 800HS (PlayStation 4) and RIG 800HX (Xbox One) allows players to focus on gaming without worrying whether or not their headset will cut out. The enhanced battery also includes a quick-charging feature that provides 1.5 hours of gaming per 30-minute charge.

The RIG 800 series is one of the lightest wireless headsets on the market, engineered for fit and long-term comfort. Memory-foam ear cushions make wearing the headset more comfortable and increase sound isolation for an immersive experience. The RIG 800 shares the same configurable design as the RIG 500, which was uniquely constructed with an industry-first modular design.

The RIG 800 series range will be available from September onwards and will retail for $279.99
