The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Expands With Blood And Wine Later This Month
It is hard to think, but just over 12 months ago, players were getting their first taste at the world of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt and now, CD Projekt Red has announced that the second expansion, Blood and Wine will release on May 31st for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
“Blood and Wine makes The Witcher 3 complete it’s Geralt’s final mission. Containing more than 90 new quests, and over thirty hours of brand new adventures, it’s something that I think gamers will remember for a long time,” said Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director, CD PROJEKT RED. “There’s also a massive amount of features we’re giving gamers with this expansion like a dynamic Point of Interest system, a new Gwent deck, new endgame mutation mechanics, and even a place Geralt can call home.... And it’s all happening in a new region as big as No Man’s Land in the base game,” Tomaszkiewicz adds.
There will also be a limited retail release of the expansion, will will come packed with two addition Gwent packs, Northern Realms and Nilfgaard. PC and PlayStation 4 players are the only ones who can get it sadly, but you will still need to download the content in any event.
If you bought the season pass for The Witcher 3, then the content will start to download when it becomes available, else you will need to purchase it separately.
