Portal Masters Get Ready To Go Full Throttle With Skylanders Superchargers

It's time to get your engines revving as Skylanders Superchargers is in stores now for a wealth of devices and will takes players on a wild ride as they drive the mountainous terrains, dive the deep sea environments and fly the big blue skies of Skylands like never before.



“Remember when you were a kid and pretended that your toy cars came to life, zooming around your living room on the most epic racetracks of your imagination?” said Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing. “Well, we are about to bring that fantasy one step closer to life with Skylanders SuperChargers. We are reimagining toys-to-life by bringing race cars to life, along with helicopters, motorcycles, jet planes and submarines, as you race through Skylands and compete against other players for the first time. Our fans are going to love playing this game. I know I do.”

Anyone who picks up one of the Starter Packs on a Nintendo platform will be treated to two rare Skylanders figures, Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser, which also double as amiibo figures.

For anyone who is picking up a starter pack, you will get the game, all new base, two Skylanders figures and one all new Skylanders vehicle, will additional vehicles and figures sold separately. There is also the Skylanders SuperChargers Dark Edition Starter Pack. All Dark Edition Starter Packs will include Dark Spitfire, Dark Hot Streak and the highly sought after Kaos Trophy which is the only way to unlock special gameplay content, plus a two-sided ultimate collector poster. The Dark versions of the Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and his vehicle, Barrel Blaster, will be available in the Wii U Dark Edition Starter Pack; Dark Hammer Slam Bowser and his vehicle, Dark Clown Cruiser, will be available in the Wii Dark Edition Starter Pack.

As always, all previously released figures will work in SuperChargers so fans need not worry there, but of course, with the new game comes new figures and they look pretty awesome. Be sure to click the image so you can check them out in all the detail.

Skylanders SuperChargers is available for Wii U, Wii, 3DS, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 with the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch versions coming next month. It will also release on Apple TV later in the year.
