Create the Official Music Video for “Leave” by Wavves Powered Exclusively by Grand Theft Auto V

You read that right, Rockstar want everyone to submit their own music video for the song Leave using the Rockstar Editor, located within Grand Theft Auto V on PC.

To help give you some guidance on what you need to do, Rockstar has provided a brief, which is below.

You may have heard the lads from Wavves on your Los Santos radio dial as the hosts of Vinewood Boulevard Radio or caught them recently when they guested on the Rockstar Games live stream. Now, Wavves have commissioned the Social Club community to create their official music video for "Leave". Wavves themselves along with Rockstar Games will be reviewing the finalists and deciding who wins, so here's a bit of direction on what they are looking for:

The song is about leaving a bad situation. Whether that means a criminal enterprise or activity, or a bad romantic relationship, or something else entirely is up to you to interpret as the music video director. Just have fun with it and don’t be afraid to get a little weird along the way.

But there are more details, here is exactly what your video must contain and when you have to submit it by.

Entering the competition is easy. Simply create a video in the Rockstar Editor using GTAV PC and publish it to Rockstar Games Social Club via the in-game menu. From there, head to the My Videos page on Social Club, and tag your video with the word "leave" to enter it into the contest. A few important points:

  • The video must feature the song "Leave" by Wavves as its soundtrack, and only that song.
  • Your video must be between 3 and 5 minutes in length.
  • The video must be published to Rockstar Games Social Club and tagged with the word 'leave' between now and 11:59pm ET on June 8th to be eligible.
  • For legal reasons, only residents of certain countries are eligible to win.
  • The video must be made entirely using the Rockstar Editor. We know that many advanced Rockstar Editor video creators like to use additional third party editing software but in order to keep this competition fair for all entrants, we require that you only use the Rockstar Editor in producing the video.
