Mart Kart 8 Revs Up Some New Details

Fans of Mario Kart have a lot to look forward to next month, first up the May DLC pack for Mario Kart 8 has been moved forward and is now coming April 23rd, but that date contains a lot more goodness.

The second DLC pack will contain 3 new characters, Villager, Isabelle and Dry Bowser, along with 4 new karts and 8 new tracks across two cups. Nintendo have given us some details on one of those tracks themed to Animal Crossing. The course itself, will change season each time you play on it, meaning you get 4 courses in one.

But that is not all, April 23rd will also see a new wave of amiibo support, allowing you to scan in one of the following amiibo for a comparable costume.

But there was also one more announcement, Mario Kart 8 will get in the April 23 update, 200cc mode, which Nintendo claims is so fast that it will require expert braking.

So April 23rd is going to be a massive date for Mario Kart 8
