The Shadows Creep In With Shadows of Esteren

Agate RPG is the company that has prided itself on creating immersive game worlds for people to explore, which they have received a lot of praise in doing with Shadows of Esteren and now they are back with Shadows of Esteren: Occultism.

Shadows of Esteren: Occultism is a 120-page “thema”, or sourcebook, to accompany the Shadows of Esteren RPG. Occultism details professions related to esotericism and mysticism, and includes game aids, rules, a new scenario “A Tidy Room”, as well as a 15-song music album, Rise, the third album in the universe of Shadows, following Of Men and Obscurities and Dearg.

Fans of the series can now also partake in the cuisine of the world thanks to an all new cookbook titled, Gourmandises des Carpates, which feature recipes from the games world.

"Shadows of Esteren wouldn’t exist without the amazing support we’ve received through the community on Kickstarter,” says Nelyhann, Creative Director. “What was once a seemingly impossible dream is now becoming a reality, and we can’t thank our backers enough for giving us this chance to achieve it.”

But that is not all, fans can also get access to the Bestiary PDF which will feature around 20 creatures from that world, along with full game guides to help GM's create their own unique monsters.

Finally, the team have also released a new screenshot from the upcoming videogame adapation The Mac Lyrs. The Mac Lyrs’ Legacy will be reminiscent of “old school” point and click games like Broken Sword or Monkey Island.
