Award-winning indie developer Amplitude Studios announced today that its classic rogue-like dungeon-defense game Dungeon of the Endless is coming to Microsoft’s Xbox One.
The Xbox One version will retain all of the key features of the popular PC version – turn-based combat, strategic tower-defense construction, RPG exploration, loot collecting, and eye-catching pixel-based retro graphics – and will be optimized for the Xbox One gamepad.
Dungeon of the Endless was released as an Alpha in Steam’s Early Access program in December 2013, has been downloaded by a massive amount of players, and has garnered enthusiastic feedback and rave fan reviews ever since. A rogue-like dungeon-defense game offering a retro 2D look with modern 3D graphics on PC, Dungeon of the Endless enables players to equip a team, gather resources, construct defenses, and explore an infinite number of dungeons in an effort to reach the planet’s surface. Each time players start a new game, they will experience a totally new, randomly generated map
