SOE RELEASES HIGHLORD SYSTEM AND FIRST RAID DUNGEON IN FANTASY MMORPG DRAGON'S PROPHET

Changes are afoot for dragon aficionados! Today, Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) announced that the Highlord System is now available in Dragon's Prophet.Additionally, SOE unleashed an all-new zone, Alentia, to the fantasy MMORPG, introducing the game's first Raid Instance.

A war zone during the Second Dragon War, Alentia has now been reduced to wasteland with broken terrain that players must adventure through. The new zone will feature four dungeons, including a raid dungeon -- Dragonheart Temple, as well as an increased level cap. Dragonheart Temple is a 10-player instance, and Prophets will need to work together if they want to defeat the doom dragons and the dungeon's five bosses, which includes a monstrous legendary dragon.

The second stage in the already available PvP-focused Frontier System, the Highlord System, allows players to set tax rates, trade items, gather resources and dictate construction points once they have taken control of a Citadel. Additionally, Alliance Leaders -- or Highlords -- can set quests and summon NPCs with unique abilities that will benefit all players in the Alliance and living in that territory.
