Activision Blizzard's Suitors Could Include Microsoft, Time Warner
We've previously reported that Vivendi is looking to sell its majority stake in Activision Blizzard, valued at up to $10 billion. And now we have an idea of who precisely might be interested in buying.
Reuters has rounded up the list of possible buyers and the most arresting one for gamers is Microsoft. The appeal to the House of Xbox in owning franchises like Call of Duty and World of Warcraft is obvious. Some theorize that it's simply too busy building consoles to buy Activision Blizzard lock stock and barrel, but it has the money and certainly the interest.
