Registrations are open for Acer Predator League Academy Term 3

School is back in session as the Acer Predator League Academy has opened up registration for Term 3, the name keeping in tradition of the relation to schools, as this is an eSports competition designed for high school players.

Following the successful inaugural tournament in Term 2, which featured 28 teams and 20 schools from Australia and New Zealand, students and schools are now invited to register for Term 3. The deadline for registration is the 20th of July, 2024. It is mandatory for each team to have a teacher acting as a coordinator.

Schools will form teams of four students to compete across three maps. The maps have been designed to promote communication, strategy and critical thinking. The layouts have been built with a competitive experience in mind, and will test players skills and teamwork within the Fortnite world.

The first matches will take place on July 23rd and then run weekly until the finals take place on September 10. The big finals will actually take place at SXSW Sydney,

Predator has partnered with video gaming marketing and game tech leaders Livewire to deliver the inaugural year of Acer Predator League Academy.

We are so excited to be a part of Acer Predator League Academy’s debut. APLA provides a local platform for young gamers to hone their skills and perhaps even aspire to a career in esports.
