Zombie Army 4: Dead War shows off its Switch features in this latest trailer
Rebellion have released a brief new trailer for Zombie Army 4: Dead War that highlights some of the content and features that players can look forward to when the game arrives on Switch, this coming April, check it out.
One of the items of note in this release is the ability to import your Steam save file, if you have one, so you don’t need to restart the game from scratch. There are a few caveats though, the first is that you can only import your save, you can’t take your Switch save to PC and the second is that there is no mid-level progression.
The game will also offer motion controls on Switch, letting you get that finely tuned shot ready at anytime, the game also supports the Pro Controller, if you are someone who wants to play with that. Of course, something that many folks will want to know is how smooth will it run, given the number of enemies on screen at any given time. Well the game will dynamically change its resolution, to ensure a smooth 30fps experience, running up to 1080p when docked and 720p when undocked.
This release also includes all of the additional content from Season Pass One and every post-release Horde Map on the game card. Season Pass One gives players three additional levels, four character packs, nine weapon bundles, five weapon skin packs and four character outfit bundles. It is also available free on all other platforms now.
Season Pass Two and Season Pass Three will be available to purchase at launch, giving players a huge amount of additional content. Complete with an in-game Achievements system, players who complete the base game’s storyline will unlock Nightmare Mode to increase the challenge even further.
