Xbox Series X Accessories - Bargain Guide
Next gen is almost here and with the Xbox Series X and Series S, things are a little different than in years past, at least for Xbox. This time, all the controllers, headsets and hard drives* will work on your new hardware, so you technically don’t need to buy new stuff.
The only catch is those external drives, if you want to play any Series X games, they need to be either on the internal memory, or on that very expensive memory card. You can store them on your external, but you have to move them, in order to play them.
As far as savings go, there isn’t a lot of room on these, maybe 95 cents at one retailer, as opposed to RRP at another. The only real saving is a few retailers are doing the Blue controller for 89, not the RRP of 94.95, which is made even stranger, given that the Black and White controllers are 89.95 each.
