Xbox has announced a stream for gamescom, direct from the showfloor
With Gamescom fast approaching, companies have been announcing their plans on what games are to be shown, what events they are hosting and more. Xbox have added their hat into the ring, with confirmation that they are bringing the following games to the show.
Pentiment (Obsidian Entertainment / Xbox Game Studios)
Age of Empires IV (Relic Entertainment & World’s Edge / Xbox Game Studios)
Microsoft Flight Simulator (Asobo Studio / Xbox Game Studios Publishing)
Sea of Thieves (Rare Games / Xbox Game Studios)
Grounded (Obsidian Entertainment / Xbox Game Studios)
Now them being hands on is great and all, at least if you are attending the show, but what about if you are not going to be there in person?
Well Xbox have you covered as well, as they are hosting a massive stream, with the title of Xbox Booth @ gamescom Live Stream, you might think it will be all about their booth, but no, it will offer games. Here is what Xbox have said about the stream:
Expect developer interviews and gameplay from various Xbox Game Studios including Mojang Studios, Obsidian Entertainment, and World’s Edge plus Xbox Game Studios Publishing and their partners at Asobo Studio, in addition to some of our highly anticipated games from our third-party partners. Join us for the whole stream or tune in for the latest on your most anticipated titles. Keep an eye on Xbox Social channels for the full content schedule in the days leading up to gamescom.
For now, the games that we know to be there include these:
Microsoft Flight Simulator (Asobo Studio / Xbox Game Studios Publishing)
Gunfire Reborn (Duoyi Games / 505 Games)
Sea of Thieves (Rare Games / Xbox Game Studios)
Lies of P (Neowiz)
High On Life (Squanch Games)
Grounded (Obsidian Entertainment / Xbox Game Studios)
Pentiment (Obsidian Entertainment / Xbox Game Studios)
A Plague Tale: Requiem (Asobo Studio / Focus Entertainment)
Minecraft Legends (Mojang Studios & Blackbird Interactive / Xbox Game Studios)
Planet of Lana (Wishfully / Thunderful)
Age of Empires IV (Relic Entertainment & World’s Edge / Xbox Game Studios)
It is rumoured that the stream will last six hours, but we will wait for a full confirmation. What we do know is the start time, Xbox have announced that it will begin at 2pm CEST, so 2pm in Germany. That means the following times for us.
AEST: 10pm
ACST: 9:30pm
AWST: 8pm

IF the stream does last for six hours, that is going to be one insanely long night.
