The start of a new year is often cause for celebration, providing a chance to reflect on the year that was and look ahead to the year that will be. It is gives folks a chance to make resolutions on how they might change in the next 12 months, sadly Xbox did not get that memo.

Last year Xbox announced that Xbox 360 games would no longer be included in the Games with Gold program, cutting the amount of titles each month from 4 to 2. After a few months of nothing extra being added, many hoped that when the new year started, they would begin to include additional games, but that has been proven to be wrong. Here are the two games that you can obtain this month, with Xbox still sticking to their split release dates.

So those are the two titles that Xbox owners can look forward to, which when comparing to those on PlayStation Plus Essential, it looks bad. This is also the third month in a row that offers some less than desirable titles and is becoming more insulting than rewarding.
