Xbox Game Pass is stuffing more goodness inside

During the X019 live stream, Xbox and a number of guests, announced that Game Pass is going to expand with new additions like CrisTales and Double Kick Heroes, but also with massive RPG’s like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and a bevy of Final Fantasy titles. Check out the trailer below to see a lot of the indie additions, but below that to learn about the rest.

Starting today, Remnant From the Ashes is available to download and will have you and some friends exploring dangerous locations as you hack, shoot and dodge to save the world, check out our review here.

If you want something that will take the rest of the year to finish, then in December you can jump in to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This version comes with all the updates and free DLC, but the two expansions are not included.

For something different, or at least for something with a lot, Square Enix are bringing a wealth of Final Fantasy to Game Pass and in early 2020 the first will release. Which one is first, no one yet knows, but we at least have the list:"

  • FINAL FANTASY VII

  • FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered

  • FINAL FANTASY IX

  • FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster

  • FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE™

  • FINAL FANTASY XIII

  • FINAL FANTASY XIII-2

  • LIGHTNING RETURNS™: FINAL FANTASY XIII

  • FINAL FANTASY XV

Taking a road less travelled, because it is usually filled with monsters and demons, is Double Kick Heroes and in it, you will need to shred some tunes as you shred the enemies chasing you. The game is coming to Game Pass on both Xbox One and PC in 2020.

For something a little more calming, CrisTales is just perfect, a blend of old school JRPG and hand drawn vistas and characters bursting with personality, it was announced at E3 2019 and instantly appeared atop many lists and for good reason, this will launch in 2020 and hit Game Pass the same day.

In the west, the fastest gun would win and that has never been more true then in West of Dead, a game that procedurally generates the world of hell. You are a lone gunman, who is attempting to fight his way out of hell and save his soul, oh and your character is voiced by Ron Perlman.
