Xbox are celebrating 20 years with new themed accessories

Xbox have announced that in celebration of their 20 years making games, they are releasing some limited edition, 20th anniversary themed hardware offerings, specifically a controller and headset, both of which come with a smoky transparent shell and will be available on November 15.

Starting off with the The 20th Anniversary Special Edition controller, the body of the controller features a translucent black finish with silver internals so you can see every detail. The nostalgic, green Xbox button brings us back to the first green Xbox logo. The iconic colour can also be found on the back grips and around the hybrid D-pad.

As a bonus, when you connect the controller to any Series X|S console, even a mates, you will unlock a 20th anniversary background, though fair warning to your mates, swap it out once and the controller is needed to unlock it again.

If you are after one of these for yourself, orders can be placed today, direct from Microsoft, with a RRP of $99.95

On the audio side of things there is the 20th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox Stereo Headset, which is identical in function to the regular Xbox Stereo Headset, just now with a new look.

The headset features a translucent black body with silver internals so you can see what brings this headset to life. Green accents on the boom mic, inside and outside of the earcups. The left disc is marked with the 20th Anniversary logo in the iconic Xbox green and the right dial has a Xbox logo imprinted, as is already seen on the Xbox Wireless and Stereo Headsets.

Much like the controller, this can also be ordered direct from Microsoft today, but unlike the controller, this will be exclusive to them, the RRP on this is also $99.95
