WWE 2K22 revealed, along with a new level of transparency
During the WrestleMania 37, 2K revealed the first trailer for WWE 2K22, the next entry in their long running wrestling series, which you can watch below. One important piece of information that was not in the trailer, are the platforms confirmed for the game.
The trailer shows off fighters Rey Mysterio & Cesaro, battling it out for a win and one thing you might notice from it, even as short as it is, is that things are a little different.
This is not just something for the game, but it is something the entire team developing at taking great care in adhering to, across the board. The goal the team have for WWE 2K22 is to be transparent in all aspects of the game, from the information they present to people and getting feedback from them as well.
If they manage to stick to their goals, this won’t just be more trailers, the team are aiming to show off things like motion capture, arena designs and more. Visual Concepts have nailed the NBA 2K series for years now, so hopefully, given they have had extra time after the bad WWE 2K20, they can create something special and lay solid foundations for entries to come.
Right now, there are no platforms, no release window or any other details, but even getting to know what they are aiming for, is a big step in the right direction.
