THQ Nordic and developer Bugbear have announced that Wreckfest 2 will release into early access via Steam on March 20, giving players a chance to play the game and help shape its development.

While you might think there is not a lot one can do between one racing game where you wreck things and another, it seems Bugbear thought otherwise. One of the changes they have done is overhaul the games physics engine, which means crashes should be more realistic and off bigger bangs each time.

There is no roadmap for the game yet, the will come before release, but I would imagine this is not going to be a long one in early access, as the developers have years of the first game being out and loads of fans to help them out.
