Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks has been announced
Plaion and developer Caged Element have announced a new Warhammer game, Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks, which will bring 16 racers together as members of da kult of speed. Check out the reveal trailer below.
Players can choose from various classes of vehicle, including damage, tank and support wagons, with distinct abilities that target a variety of playstyles. They’ll drive them to victory across multiple maps in this explosive take on the combat racing and shooter genres.
With 7 unique vehicles to choose from, meaning players will always find one that fits their mood and playstyle, with the game offering up a few modes, choosing will be important.
The two modes the game has revealed, at least for now, are Chase Mode and Convoy Mode. In Chase Mode, teams must speed to capture points and fight to control them in succession. Convoy Mode is all about protecting your team’s formidable Convoy while attacking the enemy’s and battling in-between as they race to finish first.
Right now the game is PC only, but there is no date on when it will release
