Developer Fatshark have announced that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will soon blast to release on Xbox Series X|S on October 4th, joining the PC release from earlier in the year.

This is not the base release, the game on Xbox will get all the updates that PC players have been receiving for a while, with the game also launching into Game Pass on release day.

The fun does not stop there though, as both Xbox and PC players will also get a new update to the game which will overhaul its class and feat systems. The update will introduce talent trees. Each class will have 1 talent tree featuring 3 main paths each featuring many nodes and several additional abilities, allowing players to tinker with their playstyle and create different builds for their characters.
