Ubisoft is no longer bringing Assassin's Creed Shadows to PAX Australia 2024

An update around Ubisoft at PAX Australia 2024. With the recent delay for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Ubisoft Australia have announced that the game will no longer be playable at the booth as planned.

In its place, players will be able to enjoy Star Wars Outlaws, The Crew Motorfest, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and Just Dance. There has been no word on if Charles Benoit from Ubisoft Québec will still be at the show or not, however as he is the game director for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, one would imagine he has a lot of work ahead of himself.

The Rainbow Six Siege showings are still taking place as normal.

Ubisoft have announced that they will be back at PAX Australia bringing with them a familiar game in Rainbow Six Siege and something new with Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

For those who who want new, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be playable at the Ubisoft booth, but also be able to hear from Charles Benoit from Ubisoft Québec, the director of the game. While Benoit might be around the booth, he will be on stage on Saturday, October 12 in the Quokka Theatre from 1pm, to talk about the game.

Attendees of PAX AUS will have the opportunity to witness the comeback of live Rainbow 6 Siege in Australia, featuring dedicated creator and esports showmatches on Friday, October 11. The excitement begins at 5:30pm in the Queue Hall (entry after 6pm is through Door 1 on the concourse), showcasing a unique showmatch with ten creators competing in a 5v5 format. Adding to the thrill, each round will include a twist where the stage host spins a wheel to alter the rules for the teams. After the creator showmatch, two top-tier Rainbow 6 Siege esports teams from the APAC region will compete in a showcase exhibition match. More details on the full lineup of creators and esports teams will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
