Tron Ares logged on for a fresh install at D23
During the D23 Disney Entertainment Showcase, Tron Ares, the often delayed 3rd installment of the cult series was shown off. Now while Disney have not officially revealed footage to the public, I am sure that you can find some bootleg looking versions online.
It was confirmed that the basic plot of the movie would be a program named Ares finding themselves in our world and deciding that this was the perfect world for them, so they opted to take it over. Jared Leto is going to play that role.
The movies appearance kicked off when Jeff Bridges, the original Tron creator appeared on stage.

Bridges was soon joined by Evan Peters and Greta Lee, the latter of the which was confirmed to be a human.

They still were not done with cast on the stage as Jared Leto appeared in front of a red lightcycle

But the reveals did not end there, as the american rock band Nine Inch Nails was revealed to be the composers for the movie. The wrong choice in my mind, but hey I am not making the calls.
The movie itself will release in Australia on October 9, 2025, so there is still more than a year to go.
