Tiny Tina's Wonderland has rolled a 20 and bringing crossplay to all
2K and Gearbox have provided some details about the crossplay that is coming with Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, as well as the release times for when the game will be playable, if you are getting it digitally.
The team confirmed recently that the game would support crossplay, but this isn’t crossplay between console family, this is full and open. Meaning that no matter the platform you have the game on, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, or PC via the Epic Games Store, you can play with anyone else, regardless of the platform they are on.
Gearbox have said that players won’t have to fight for loot, if they don’t want to, as the game will offer two ways for loot drops, plus the games enemies will scale up accordingly when you are in multiplayer. All the details you need to know, including name selection, can be found on the games official site.
For those who want to play locally with a friend, the game supports two or four player split-screen, depending on platform. Those who have not yet upgraded to the newer consoles, so are on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 can enjoy two players, but if you have been lucky enough to do so, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 gamers can enjoy four players at once. If you are in two player mode on the new, or the old consoles, you can elect to have the game run in either vertical or horizontal modes.
Finally, the team confirmed the local times that the game will unlock, for Australia and New Zealand that means the game will be available on consoles beginning at 12.01 a.m. on March 25. While on PC, the game will be available via the Epic Game Store in Australia at 10 a.m. on March 25 and in New Zealand at 12 p.m. on March 25.
