The June Stream Schedule - all the dates and times you need to know

When E3 2022 was officially cancelled, there were some people that cried, some people that meh’d and then there were the below folks, who clearly are still carrying on like it is happening.

Most of these streams are set to take place in the middle of the night, so if you are someone who hates late nights or super early mornings, replays are going to be your best friend.

For now, here are all the shows, in their air date order and if you want to watch them, just click on the show name to be taken to the platform, or one of the platforms that they will be on.

State of Play

The most recent of the steams, PlayStation’s State of Play is set to feature a bunch of information on PlayStation 5 games, those made by Sony themselves and some from the third party developers. There will also be some PlayStation VR2 content revealed, but the what is totally unknown at this point.

The show is set to air on Friday June 3rd, with the times below.

  • AEST: 8am

  • ACST: 7:30am

  • AWST: 6am

  • NZST: 10am

Limited Run Games Showcase

Limited Run Games have been hosting their ‘E3’ stream for a few years now, in it we get details on some new prints of games, but there are occasionally some new reveals of titles as well. This year the stream is taking place on June 6 in the USA, so that makes it the 7th for us.

The show is set to air on Tuesday June 7th, just note that the times below are not confirmed, but based off last years":

  • AEST: 9am

  • ACST: 8:30am

  • AWST: 7am

  • NZST: 11am

Upload VR Showcase

If you are a VR gamer, be it on your PlayStation VR, Oculus Quest 2 or even Steam VR, then this is the showcase for you. There will be game reveals, release dates provided and more and hey, if you are not yet a VR game, this could be the showcase to convince you otherwise.

This one will air on Friday June 10, but it is an early one, with the times being:

  • AEST: 1am

  • ACST: 12:30am

  • AWST: 11pm

  • NZST: 3am

Summer Game Fest

There is an entire week between the PlayStation stream and the next big one, and this one has the potential to be insanely big, as it is not created by any specific platform. The list of companies involved in the show is pretty much everyone, just not Nintendo, so there should be some great content shown off.

This one will air on Friday June 10, but it is an early one, with the times being:

  • AEST: 4am

  • ACST: 3:30am

  • AWST: 2am

  • NZST: 6am

Devolver Digital Marketing Countdown to Marketing

In years past, Devolver Digital has provided a fun and chaotic look at what E3 could be, if people were focused on singular aspects of the industry, looking at you VHS tape. But regardless of the storyline that their presentations have, they always deliver fun and interesting games. This years showcase is going to feature Cult of the Lamb, but it would not surprise me to see Terra Nil, Gunbrella and even Wizard with a Gun.

The show is going to take place after the Summer Game Fest stream, so if you are already watch that live, just stick around:

  • AEST: 8am

  • ACST: 7:30am

  • AWST: 6am

  • NZST: 10am

Day of the Devs

Day of the Devs is an event that is hosted by Double Fine Productions, the folks behind Psychonauts 2 and Excel related jokes, but this is not an event for them to toot their own horn, rather they showcase interesting indie games. Developers can submit their games and if selected, they get a chance to show it off.

This is going to air after the Summer Game Fest wraps up, so based on last years run time, maybe 3.5 hours later.

Netflix Geeked Week

This isn’t technically a single stream, but rather a lot of streams over a number of days. With that in mind, they will generally announce ahead of time, what shows or content will be on which days, meaning you will only have to watch on the days you want. We know that Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be shown off during the show.

The streams will kick off on Tuesday June 7, with each day dedicated to one element:

Stream 1 - Series - Tuesday, June 7:

  • AEST: 2am

  • ACST: 1:30am

  • AWST: 12am

  • NZST: 3am

Stream 2 - Movies - Wednesday, June 8

  • AEST: 2am

  • ACST: 1:30am

  • AWST: 12am

  • NZST: 3am

Stream 3 - Animation - Thursday, June 9

  • AEST: 9am

  • ACST: 8:30am

  • AWST: 7am

  • NZST: 11am

Stream 4 - Stranger Things - Friday, June 10

  • AEST: 2am

  • ACST: 1:30am

  • AWST: 12am

  • NZST: 3am

Stream 5 - Games - Sunday June 12

  • AEST: 3am

  • ACST: 2:30am

  • AWST: 1am

  • NZST: 5am

Guerrilla Collective 3

This is the first of two streams that the Guerrilla Collective will be hosting this year, just like they have done in years past. This is a warning last years streams contained some 90 games each, so they are very long shows. That being said, they are packed with indie goodness, so if you are into those then be sure to tune in, or check out our wrap up.

Stream 1 will take place on Sunday June 12 at the following times:

  • AEST: 1am

  • ACST: 12:30am

  • AWST: 11pm - Saturday June 11

  • NZST: 3am

Wholesome Games Direct

Much like the Guerrilla Collective events, this showcase is purely indie driven, but unlike the aforementioned, it is all about games to make you go awww. You won’t find zombie apocalypse titles here, unless its a cutesy dating sim, instead you will get games that make you smile, that are filled with bright colours and more.

The show will take place on Sunday June 12 at the following times:

  • AEST: 2:30am

  • ACST: 2am

  • AWST: 12:30am

  • NZST: 4:30am

Future Games Show 2022

The Future Games Show usually has three or four events throughout the year, being mini-E3’s on their own. While they do have a few game reveals, they always like to show off looks at games we already know are coming, plus they love giving out codes to games during the show, usually via a wall of them.

This show is going to take place on Sunday June 12, a few hours after the Guerrilla Collectives first stream, these are the times:

  • AEST: 5am

  • ACST: 4:30am

  • AWST: 3am

  • NZST: 7am

Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase

This is the one that we learnt about early on and while there is no word on content or length, though 90 minutes is expected, it should be packed with games. Starfield and Redfall being delayed shouldn’t alter their content too much, however they still have Indiana Jones, Forza Motorsport, Fable and a host of other games they can show off, if they do not appear. Not to mention any third party inclusions

The show will air on Monday June 13, with the times for us below. Just note that Xbox are hosting a Xbox FanFest party in Melbourne, for those who want to watch the stream with a few hundred other folks.

  • AEST: 3am

  • ACST: 2:30am

  • AWST: 1am

  • NZST: 5am

PC Gaming Show 2022

The only show that is dedicated to PC gaming - though many of the games appear on consoles, the PC Gaming Show has been running for a few years now. What started out as an Oprah style show, has pivoted in recent years, pandemic related reasons and such, to a more common streaming showcase.

The show will take place after the Xbox showcase, so Monday June 13 at the below times:

  • AEST: 5:30am

  • ACST: 5am

  • AWST: 3:30am

  • NZST: 7:30am

Guerrilla Collective 3.5

The second of the Guerrilla Collective showcases for 2022, this one is going to be more of the same, tons and tons of games, across a number of hours, as always there is no set time frame on the length, but if you want to watch… just set aside a few hours.

The show will take play on Tuesday June 14 and unlike the first one, will start at a decent time for us:

  • AEST: 6am

  • ACST: 5:30am

  • AWST: 4am

  • NZST: 8am

Capcom Showcase

Capcom have announced that they are also getting into the Showcase game, with a roughly 35 minute long one set for next Monday June 13 in LA, or for us, Tuesday June 14. They have specifically state in the release that it will be ‘news and in-depth updates on previously announced titles’, so if you are hoping for Mega Man 12, Lost Planet 4: What’s lost is new again or Bionic Commando Multi-arm, you might be out of luck.

The showcase is set to take place on Tuesday June 14 and will start at a decent time for us:

  • AEST: 8am

  • ACST: 7:30am

  • AWST: 6am

  • NZST: 10am

Nintendo Direct

Ah you thought there was something announced… well there isn’t yet. Nintendo have traditionally hosted a Nintendo E3 Direct on the first day of the show and that is expected to happen again. If that does take place this year, it should be Wednesday June 15th at 2am, but until Nintendo actually announce it, who really knows what is going on.

THQ Nordic Digital Showcase

While not within the week of streams, I figured it would be a good thing to add here. This is the second Digital Showcase from THQ Nordic and we should expect to see more on Destroy All Humans 2, SpongeBob SquarePants and the Cosmic Shake and a few new announcements.

As I said, this isn’t within the week of streams, nor is it within the month, this one will take place on August 12, the times for us are below:

  • AEST: 5pm

  • ACST: 4:30pm

  • AWST: 3pm

  • NZST: 7pm
