The Splatoon and The Legend of Zelda concerts are still happening

Last year saw Nintendo of Japan make the decision to cancel Nintendo Live Tokyo, after numerous threats were issued to staff. Now Nintendo has confirmed the concerts will go ahead, but will now be viewable by anyone around the world.

First up will be The Legend of Zelda Orchestra Concert, which will have a 60 piece orchestra playing music from the series. There is no word on if its from Tears of the Kingdom or just a mix of the all. This broadcast will take place at the following times, with it expected to run for around 30 minutes:

  • JST - 8pm Friday February 9

  • AEDT - 11pm Friday February 9

  • ACDT - 10:30pm Friday February 9

  • AEST - 10pm Friday February 9

  • ACST - 9:30pm Friday February 9

  • AWST - 8pm Friday February 9

  • NZST - 1am Saturday February 10

The second event will take place a day after and include music from Splatoon 3, as well as Surimi Rengo who appear in the game. This will take place at the following times and is expected to run for around 40 minutes.

  • JST - 8pm Saturday February 10

  • AEDT - 11pm Saturday February 10

  • ACDT - 10:30pm Saturday February 10

  • AEST - 10pm Saturday February 10

  • ACST - 9:30pm Saturday February 10

  • AWST - 8pm Saturday February 10

  • NZST - 1am Sunday February 11
