The Rebellion grows this April as Andor Season 2 is dated

At D23 Brazil, we finally got the news that we were waiting for, Andor Season 2 will premiere on April 22nd 2025, sadly there was no trailer for it along with that news.

What we do know though is that the second and final season of Andor will take place over 4 years, which is the time between the end of the first season and the beginning of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The season will have 12 episodes, with the first 3 episodes being about the 1st year and the cycle repeats. That means for every three episodes of Andor, the show will move forward an entire year, leading us ever closer towards the movie.

Outside of Andor Season 2, the only remaining shows we know to be in active development are Ahsoka Season 2 and The Mandalorian Season 4, you can see what we think about those here. Speaking of those shows, you can now order the first season of Ahsoka and the third season of The Mandalorian in 4K, if you want a physical copy of them.

Of course, this December 3rd Star Wars will return to Disney+ with Skeleton Crew, which just got a new trailer recently, with that series set to have 8 episodes, starting with a 2 episode premiere.

As for what is happening in game form, we know that the final chapter for Cal Kestis is happening, plus there are more games that we know to be happening, you can read about those here. That of course does not include the DLC for Star Wars Outlaws, with the first arrive later this November, nor the stream of updates for Star Wars The Old Republic, the arena pew-pewing of Star Wars Hunters or the squad building action of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, which came to PC recently. Aspyr have brought a few older Star Wars games to modern platforms and they are continuing that trend with Star Wars: Episode I Jedi Power Battles in 2025, so there is a lot to look forward to on the games side of the galaxy.

If you want your Star Wars a little less interactive and in movie form, then good news as there is one officially in production movie with The Mandalorian and Grogu, but there are rumours of many more and you can discover those here.

There are dates booked out for December 17, 2025 and December 16, 2026 for Star Wars movies on the calendar, but there is no word on those might be, or even if there is anything actually coming, but there is a lot to look forward to regardless.

Now if you will excuse me, it is time to go and re-watch Andor, which also has a 4K release.
