The next season of Splatoon 3 will sizzle with new weapons, modes and more
Nintendo have announced that the next season of content for Splatoon 3 will arrive on June 1st and deliver new weapons, modes and much more. Check out the teaser trailer for it below.
Key to the season, it is in the art after all, is the S-BLAST '92 and offers up two firing modes. Check it out in motion below.
Sorry—we're just so excited. Check out this video of the S-BLAST '92 in action. No batteries required! And note that jumping while firing is how you activate the shorter-range firing mode with bigger blasts. Keep your feet on the ground to hit faraway targets with precision. pic.twitter.com/tPHvMusgF2

Fans of the League battle mode in Splatoon 2 will be happy to know it is coming back to Splatoon 3, well sort of. Now called Challenges, they will offer up limited time rules or restrictions to help you discover new ways to play and present.. umm new challenges.
Some of the challenges to come include Too Many Trizookas—where you can fire the Trizooka almost endlessly—to an Extreme Jump Battle with powered-up jumping physics and more.
Full patch notes for the season are expected when it launches, so for now we need to wait. Otherwise, does this get you excited to ink all over again?
