EA have announced that the Heat Studio app, that was released last month for Need for Speed Heat, is getting an update, to make it easier for you to show off your ride.

If you don’t know about the app, what it allows you to do, is customise your rides on the go, meaning that you can spend that morning commute to work making sure your ride is looking as you want, so when you get home you can just start racing in it. If you have not got it yet, you can get it here.

However the newest update to the app, brings AR functions to it, meaning you can now witness your creation, as if it was right in front of you in your own driveway.

The AR feature comes with environment integration for shadows and reflections so the cars blend into the environment where they’re placed. The AR feature also delivers flexible scaling, where cars can be showcased in everything from model proportion all the way up to actual, real world size. Players can even rotate them in the app, to ensure it will hit that perfect pose for that perfect shot to be shared on social channels.

More cars are being added to the app each week, so by the time the game releases, you should have plenty to enjoy. Need for Speed Heat hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 8.
