The massive 1.6 update for Stardew Valley is out now for consoles and mobile

Way back in March 2024, the 1.6 update for Stardew Valley was released for PC and added a lot to the game, but console and mobile players had only one question, when was it coming for their platform. That answer is now today, as the update is rolling out across consoles and mobile devices.

The update launching today is actually 1.6.9, which means it has a few extra updates that the PC release didn’t get when it launched, but worry not PC players, the extra stuff is coming in an update today as well.

When I say that the update is big, that is not hyperbole, the change log itself highlights just how much is in there. As the change log can contain some character spoilers, we won’t show it here, but you can click here to see it in full.
