The Legend of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom is getting a special OLED console

Nintendo have announced and the local branch has confirmed that on May 12th, a special Tears of the Kingdom themed Switch OLED console will be released.

It will come with the same internals as the other OLED consoles, will just feature a new look exterior. The main console is black and has icons from across the new game, including that repeating circle pattern on the dock. The price for the console is $549.95 rrp, but each retailer will vary slightly.

As for the Joy-Cons, they are gold on the front and white in the back, with there being small gold icons on the rear. The front is two toned, one side is gold and green, with the other being gold and white.

In addition to the Switch OLED console, there is also a new Pro Controller, which features a combination of that circular pattern in gold and the updated Triforce crest in a black colour. The main body of the unit is a smoky transparent black and the grips are black and white. The price for the controller is $109.95 rrp, but each retailer will vary slightly.

Finally, if you are like me and are still using the same carrying case from when the Switch launched, there is also a new case coming for the OLED console. It features repeating patterns in both black and gold, as well as some icons in both colours. The price for the case is $39.95 rrp, but each retailer will vary slightly.
