The Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection will welcome guest starting in September

They teased it months ago, but Limited Run Games have finally announced that Jurassic Park: Classic Games Collection, which is set to go up for pre-order on September 1st and have a six week period.

The big thing with Limited Run Games is that they don’t start producing the physical items until the orders are all taken, so for this that means October 16th. Once the process of production has begun, it can take anywhere from 8 months to 1 year to be completed and then shipping happens. So just know if you order on September 1st, you might not get it until October 31st 2024. They did release a blog post earlier in the year about their hopes to shorten the production time, but its still a mess.

There are three ways to get the game, digital, physical edition or retro edition. The collection will be released in a digital form, giving players access to the games, with Limited Run Games doing the publishing work on that one as well.

The line up will be as follows:

  • Jurassic Park

    • NES

    • SNES

    • GameBoy

  • Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues

    • SNES

You can see some of those games in our 30 years of Jurassic Park feature, but while there are countless more games based around those movies, it appears that its only Nintendo titles at this time.
