The future of Halo Infinite is as bright as promised, as local co-op for the game has been dropped
343 Industries, the folks behind the Halo series have released a developer update video for Halo Infinite, showing off just what players can look forward to over the coming months, it also removes some plans as well.
Before you get to the video, it is important to know that the studio has decided not to add local co-op to the game, meaning that if you want to play through the campaign with a friend, you can only do so online. Which is a real slap in the face to anyone who bought the game, on the promise of couch co-op and now either has to buy another console to enjoy it, or just play it solo.
The infographic below provides an update as to what is coming in the end of year update and Season 3, which is set to kick off next March.
If you want to watch the full update, you can do so below, with the video running for about 30 minutes.
