The former Netflix exclusive Marvel shows are coming to Disney+
Disney have announced that on March 16, all of the live-action Marvel TV Shows, will be in the one place to watch, as the former Netflix exclusive shows are hitting Disney+, along with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and their crossover The Defenders, along with The Punisher are making the jump from Netflix to Disney+
“Disney+ has served as the home for some of the most beloved brands in the industry, and the addition of these live-action shows brings more from the Marvel brand together, all in one place,” said Michael Paull, President of Disney Streaming. “We have experienced great success with an expanded content offering on Disney+ across our global markets and are excited to continue that here in the U.S. as well by offering our consumers not only great content with the new Marvel additions, but also a set of features that help ensure a viewing experience most suitable for them and their family.”
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D will be joining the line up from the ABC network, joining Agent Carter and The Inhumans, which are both already on the service.
Does this mean that Daredevil will team up with The Falcon/Captain America in a new show, or will Jessica Jones join the fight in Ms Marvel, both doubtful, but it is nice to see all the shows coming together in one place.
