The first trailer for Cyberpunk Edgerunners is here

As part of Netflix Geeked Week, they have released the first trailer for Cyberpunk Edgerunners, a 10 episode series, set within the same world as Cyberpunk 2077, just telling all new stories, check it out.

The show is being created by Studio Trigger, best known for their works Darling in the Franxx, Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia. More recently, they developed two of the shorts for the first series of Star Wars Visions.

The director of the series is Hiroyuki Imaishi, who directed Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann, so there is some talent behind it.

As for when this will land on Netflix, the show is set appear sometime in September, but a specific date has not yet been provided.
