The first details for F1 24 have been revealed
While Electronic Arts teased a new F1 game a few weeks back, the only detail we got at that time was that the game would be released in May, rather than its usual July/August window, now though we have the first trailer and details. First, check out the new trailer.
One of the big changes for this years title is that of the handling mechanics, which is being branded as Dynamic Handling. What this mechanic aims to do is replicate the real world driving conditions that F1 racers deal with, which means an all-new suspension kinematics system, improved tyre model, more detailed aerodynamic simulation, new engine settings, and expanded car setup options. All combined they will give players more control over the various parts of their racing experience and let you customise your car to match how you drive, which will in turn impact your performance and eventual position on the podium.
Of course, it is not just new handling as the games career mode has been overhauled, including the addition of Challenge Career, where players will get to test their skills in a series of mini challenges and unique events. The tracks of the game have been given attention again, with a focus on bringing them all up to modern standards.
There is a lot more to reveal for the game, with the team looking release new details pretty consistantly until the games release on May 31st. When the game does release it will land on PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
