Xbox have announced that the Elite Controller is getting a colour upgrade and may help settle the long running debate for Xbox, Blue or Red.

The Elite Controller Series 2 will release on April 28th in both the Red and Blue colours shown below. Much like the White edition that released last year, this is the Elite - Core edition, meaning the extra sticks and paddles for the rear of the controller are an optional extra.

The Elite - Core comes with a cable for charging or direct connection to your console or PC, along with an adjustment tool for the sticks. For everything else you need the Complete Component Pack. There are also 3rd party kits around, should you wish to save some money.
