The Dark Pictures Anthology updates two of its games for all platforms

Bandai Namco have announced, three and four years after their first release that Man of Medan and Little Hope, the first two games in The Dark Pictures Anthology, have been updated with new content, improvements and native support for next-gen consoles.

The update which is available on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One adds the following for both games:

  • New difficulty settings & QTE warnings

  • Improved UI & interactions

  • Updated bearing art & event triggers

  • Increased walking speeds

  • More accessibility options, including subtitle sizing

Man of Medan players can also look forward to discovering a previously unseen chapter, Flooded, which introduces new gameplay and new death potential to the games ending. Below are some new screens for the Little Hope game.

As stated earlier, the games are now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as native ports, meaning that there is no need for backwards compatibility and yes, these new updates are included.
