The Crew 2 is changing up how content will come to players
Before the most recent Ubisoft Forward event kicked off, the pre-show also hosted some news as well, including the reason of the Year 3 content for The Crew 2 and the big changes it is bringing.
Previously, every 4 months the developers at Ubisoft Ivory Tower have just released a new expansion of sorts, the most recent being ‘Summer in Hollywood’ and all about recreating those classic Hollywood car moments.
When the next year begins this November, things will change, while there will still be updates, they will now work more like Seasons, something other games have had great success with. These seasons actually tie into the new theme, a company called MotorFlix has come to the game and is letting players create new experiences.
Each season will still last 4 months and will have two episodes in it, each lasting for 2 months and the first is called The Chase, check out the video to get a sample of what that means.
So S01E01 will kick off on November 25 for all platforms, meaning you have some time to still enjoy Summer in Hollywood, before things change. The game is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and if you have UPlay+ the game is included as part of that subscription.
