The Big Stories You May Have Missed Last Week
Each week there are a lot of news stories that come through, some are massive enough that they generate conversation, then there are those that can just slide on by.
Surprisingly, there were quite a number of stories that we could have selected for this weeks post, the Star Wars Old Republic MMO getting its expansion, Xbox adding support for Cloud gaming to their consoles (no installs required now) or the extra 70 titles for their backwards compatibility lineup, which has now ended, but these are the ones we thought of the most, when the weekend came around.

We got a teaser trailer some months ago and with only a few weeks until the movie is released, a new trailer was always a given, this one is packed, with new villains, plot twists and a cool new suit, but I will leave this here, don’t watch if you don’t want to be spoiled.

Multiplayer games are just as common as single player titles these days, however the asynchronous offerings are quite slim, Bandai Namco are stepping in now with their own version. The Halo Infinite Multiplayer Can Be Played Right Now
That is really all need be said, the multiplayer is live, technically it is in beta, but all the progress will carry across to the full game, when the launches next month.

After years of trying and failing, it seems we are about ready to go, as we got a brief teaser trailer for the Halo TV series, which is coming to Paramount+ next year. The only casting news of note is that Jen Taylor is voicing Cortana here as well.

Seems everyone wants a cut of that Smash Bros pie, from the Ninja Turtles to Spongebob, Kratos and Daryl Dixon, but now WB Games are trying it out, with a new title. Taking characters from their stable of IP, so DC, Cartoon Network, HBO and beyond, this free to play fighter could be something fun.
