The Big Stories You May Have Missed Last Week
Each week there are a lot of news stories that come through, some are massive enough that they generate conversation, then there are those that can just slide on by.
There were three showcases during the week, with NIS America, Disney and Ubisoft and that meant a lot of games to be unveiled. Rather than showcase everything, we picked one item from each, so here we go.
Assassin's Creed Mirage Officially Unveiled At Ubisoft Forward
After leaking first, Ubisoft have officially announced Assassin’s Creed Mirage, a returning character in Basim gets a chance to show his rise to master assassin. Set in Baghdad, this adventure is going to be much smaller experience than more recent games, taking players back to the earlier games.
Midnight Suns Shows Off More Of Its Action And Gets A New Release Date
Having been delayed from its October release, many were expecting that the game would not release until until next year, but surprise, the game is coming out this December. We also got a look at some new gameplay via the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase
Phantom Liberty Is The First Expansion For Cyberpunk 2077
After a rocky launch, Cyberpunk 2077 is pushing ahead with its first and only expansion, Phantom Liberty, which is coming in 2023. A new location, new characters and more await, but there are some returning characters with Johnny Silverhand being one of them.
NIS America Are Keeping The Games Coming, With A Line Up Set To Land Next Autumn
A different type of showcase from NIS America delivered some new games, all coming in the Autumn months of 2023, including a remaster of a beloved PlayStation 2 strategy classic.
