Tekken 8 is welcoming an all-new fighter and a returning favourite

Bandai Namco have announced two more characters for Tekken 8, the first is an all-new fighter making their series debut, the second is a returning fighter.

First up is Azucena, known as the Coffee Queen, she is the latest in the Oritz family line and runs a coffee plantation in Peru, she is also a MMA fighter. She decided to compete in The King of Iron Fist Tournament to promote the Ortiz Farm. Azucena fights using movement based on Mixed Martial Arts, while incorporating some slightly unconventional techniques, such as the Liberador, where she shifts into a stance in which she doesn’t block her opponents but dodges their attacks by instinct.

The returning character is that of Raven, who vanished after Tekken 6. Having undergone some intense training, he has come back even stronger in Tekken 8. His style mixing ninjutsu and powerful strikes, along with his unique “Soul Field” stance, will give players a versatile arsenal, using clones and teleportation to master the rhythm of the battlefield.

These new fighters join the few that were revealed in July. The game still does not have a release date, but the game is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation 5, whenever it does release.
