Tales of the Shire gets its first console confirmed
After announcing the project a few years back now and confirming a 2024 release last year, details for Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings game have been scarce, but that changed with the below tweet.

As you can see, with the tweet above, there was a nice video showing off a small glimpse of the shire, nothing all that fancy, until you see that Nintendo of America retweeted that post. This is the first time a console maker has shared anything on the game, you can see a snapshot below of their work.
When the game was first announced, it was revealed to be coming to PC and consoles, but the actual consoles were never confirmed, and while the full list has not, it is quite likely that Switch is the first on that list. Of course, this could be a Switch 2 title, but at this point, its just nice to know its still coming.
There is no other date beyond 2024, so we will need to wait until the game gets more details, which should be in the next few months.
