Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack is heading towards Switch

Bandai Namco have announced that Taiko No Tatsujin is coming back to Switch, with the release of the Rhythmic Adventure Pack, a game that takes two previously non-English games in the series and brings them to the West for the first time, check out the trailer to see what is going on.

Players will need to hone their rhythmic drum playing skills in order to beat enemies. Completing challenging rhythmic combos will deal more damage to enemy characters, leading to their defeat. However, old enemies can become future allies as players are able to invite vanquished foes to join their party to take-on even more powerful enemies and bosses. Fans of the series will also be able to enjoy classic Taiko no Tatsujin gameplay in Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack’s Rhythm Game Mode which will feature over 100 songs and six entirely new tracks.

With the TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHMIC ADVENTURE PACK, we’re excited to have two games that were exclusive to Japan coming to our fans in the west,” said Herve Hoerdt, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Digital and Content at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe. “The TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: RHYTHMIC ADVENTURE PACK  will deliver lots of fun and a surprising RPG adventure through its challenging rhythmic gameplay that both longtime fans and new players will thoroughly enjoy.”

The game is set to launch sometime this December, but an exact date is not yet known.
