Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is drumming onto new platforms this November

Bandai Namco have announced that Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is heading to more platforms on November 17, with the game announced for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

As you might hope, the game does support the drum controller, the official Hori website has a listing for it, but getting one down under will prove more of a challenge.

In Rhythm Festival, players explore Omiko City, where everyone’s favourite Taiko elements come together in one place, with Don-chan and Kumo-kyun. With several modes that will have players experience the ultimate celebration of music in the Story mode, try fun modes with up to 4 players in the Taiko Land or face other players online in the Dondoko Town.

While the base game will come with a good number of songs, there is a Setlist Edition which comes with another 32 tracks from Anime, Pops and Vocaloid. If that was not enough there is also the Taiko Music Pass, which adds another 700 songs to the library.

For anyone that pre-orders, you will get the Namco Game Music Pack, which includes the following:

  • SYMPHONIC VALKYRIE

  • EAT’EM UP! (from R4 -RIDGE RACER TYPE4-)

  • GOING TO LUNATEA (from Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil)

  • Boku no→Chikyu (Mr. DRILLER Drill Land)

  • The arrow was shot (from TALES OF THE ABYSS)

The game is already out on Switch, it released in October of 2022, so it has been drumming solo for a while now.
