Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream has been announced
During the recent Nintendo Direct, Bandai Namco were on hand to reveal an all-new entry in the Sword Art Online series, Fractured Daydream, which is set to release in 2024 for Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.
In this game, players will return to Alfheim Online, but something is not right. A new patch has been applied to the game, but a malfunction causes all worlds and timelines to collide, creating a unique setting and challenging environment for Kirito and other players. All lost in uncharted territory, enemies become allies, departed characters are back and unlikely alliances will be formed to survive the dangers in this unsettled world.
A Closed Beta Test is taking place this March, all the details and registration can be found here, but the test will offer 20 players in 5 teams of 4, the chance to work together, to take down massive world bosses.
