Nintendo have announced that a new game is available now via Nintendo Switch Online within the GameBoy ape app, Donkey Kong Land.

While much of the game comes from the first Super Nintendo release, there is some unique content to discover. This is the basic reason for what is going on in the game.

Cranky Kong doesn't think Donkey Kong has proven himself to be a hero yet. So, he decides to work out a deal with the closest villain that he knows. K. Rool and his baddies have hidden bananas in new places across Donkey Kong Island in another attempt to outwit the best-friend duo. And the only response is for Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong to go off on another adventure!

While it is just the single game, with Donkey Kong Country opening up in a few weeks at Universal Studios Japan, there is likely going to be more to come.
