Alongside that information is the fact that we have the first official photos of the land, as shown above and the first photos from the Mario Kart attraction, which is called Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge. Below is the official description of the ride from Universal themselves.

Race your way to victory! Iconic Mario Kart courses have been brought to life with cutting-edge technology. Challenge enemies with shells! Aim for the finish line with Mario and Peach! The world's first interactive Mario Kart theme park ride will leave you with a rush of adrenaline!

As mentioned in the video, riders will done an AR headset, think VR, but clear, that will overlay videogame elements to what is happening around the ride, here is a photo of it, along with a new look at the Power Up Band.

Finally, we have those official photos, which don’t show off any of the actual ride, just the queue that folks will get to walk through. The image right below this one has a letter from Bowser, address to Mario and it reads “Well done, Mario! Come to my castle, let’s have a race. Don’t run away, I’m waiting. Bowser”

While Japan is getting the land first and reports are coming in that Orlando has been delayed, Hollywood is still going ahead, with the green hills making an appearance a few weeks ago. The still below comes from a video on the YouTube channel of SoCalExploring.
