Super Mega Baseball 4 is stepping up to the plate with new platforms this June
Electronic Arts have announced that Super Mega Baseball 4 will be leaving the mobile landscape and sliding into consoles and PC this June. Check out the new trailer for the game below.
While there is a recently released baseball game on all platforms, outside of mobile, this is more of a lighter experience, as the game bills itself as an arcade title.
It will feature more than 200 players, across various generations, with former pros like Vladimir Guerrero, Johnny Damon, Ozzie Smith, and Jason Giambi, being just a few of them.
As far as gameplay goes, modes like Franchise and Pennant Race will be included, with the latter being supported by cross-play on all platforms. Online leagues will also be fully cross-play supported, so there will always be someone to play against.
The other online modes, Exhibition, Franchise, Season, and Elimination will be cross-generation only, meaning Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S. Xbox and PC or Switch and PlayStation will not be supported here.
Finally the game is coming out on June 3rd for all platforms, but those who order up the Ballpark Edition, will gain access 3 days early. Switch owners can order up the Ballpark Edition, but the early access will not work there.
